Creamy Yogurt Hummus

This take on a traditional Middle Eastern dip is a great accompaniment for your favorite crunchy veggies, whole-grain crackers, or pita slices. Use non- or low-fat yogurt for a low-calorie protein boost to your afternoon snack.

1 (15.5 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
1 clove garlic, peeled
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
2/3 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt


  1. In a blender or food processor, blend garbanzo beans until smooth.
  2. Mix in garlic, salt, lemon juice and yogurt. Blend to desired consistency.
